General

Yes. The Capsll application will run on both Apple & Android phones. The minimum requirements are as follows: Apple (Operating system 12.0 or later) and Android (Operating system 5.0 or higher). Download Apple version here or Android here

Yes. Capsll comes with a limited Free Plan and a full feature premium version. Details of each plan can be found in the Settings screen under the “Account Tier” heading.

No, we do not serve ads on Capsll. Your information will never be shared or sold to any third parties. Ever.

Yes. Your content will be securely stored on the Amazon Cloud. Amazon Services guarantee the security of content stored on their servers and we have invested heavily in making sure your media is completely secure for as long as it is stored on the application.

Yes. Your content is yours and only yours. We will soon release a feature which will allow you to determine whether or not content you privately share can be shared on by those you give permission to. We’ll explain more when the feature releases.

Yes, you can retrieve them from the files folder on your phone. Please see the instructions for iOS and Android. 

iOS 

To retrieve the audio files from your Apple phone please follow these steps:

  1. Please make sure you have a Capsll version of the app 1.7.3 or higher installed on your phone.
  2. Open the Files app on your phone.
  3. Click on On My Phone.
  4. Open Capsll folder and your files will be there with a name starting with “capsll_audio…”

Android

To retrieve the audio files from your Android phone please follow these steps:

  1. Please make sure you have a Capsll version of the app 1.7.3 or higher installed on your phone. 
  2. Open the My Files app on your phone.
  3. Click on Internal Storage.
  4. Open Podcasts folder 
  5. Open Capsll folder and your files will be there with a name starting with “capsll_audio…”

We do not compress your images, video  or audio and as such the file size of your media may be large. The speed of the upload is entirely based on the quality of your connection to the internet. The better the connection, the faster the upload.

The application needs to be open in order for your uploads to complete. If you put the app into the background and use another, you will receive a notification warning that your upload has been paused. You will need to open Capsll for the upload to continue.

Go ahead and create a private Capsll using your child’s name. When they reach 13 years old, you can create their very own Capsll account for them and you can then share the private Capslls you’ve created over time with them then.
